TRIBULUS 750 Review

By | Reviews | No Comments

About TRIBULUS 750

Tribulus 750 is probably one of the simplest testosterone and performance enhancers out there as it only makes use of 1 potent ingredient that became its brand name. While we see this as a sign of surefire potency, we can’t help but wonder if going 100% tribulus was the best route when it comes to testosterone boosting. From the looks of things, the only tactical advantage it has is how cheap it is plus more if you buy in bulk but is it worth buying for testosterone?Tribulus-750

Let’s check it out anyway and see where it goes.

Supplement facts

  • Serving size: 1 Capsule
  • Serving per container: 90
  • Tribulus (Tribulus terrestris) (fruit) (Standardized to contain 40% saponins, 300 mg) – 750 mg

Other Ingredients

Gelatin, Cellulose (Plant Origin). Contains <2% of: Croscarmellose, Silica, Vegetable Magnesium Stearate

Ingredient analysis

Tribulus 750 is supposed to be a natural testosterone booster but from what we know about ingredients, it doesn’t look promising at all.

  • Tribulus. This is the main star and contains a whopping 750 mg. It’s standardized to 40% saponins and a study actually confirms it can boost testosterone.

With just one big ingredient, with a study to back it up too, everything looks good so far. Upon closer inspection, though, we realize Tribulus is more of a libido enhancer and a weak testosterone booster at best. The study even confirms it only works on men who have pretty low levels of testosterone in the first place. Even if it does have potential as a testosterone booster that potential looks weak.

As far as dosage is concerned, you can definitely take up to two but that would also shorten the product’s lifespan therefore making it more expensive. For what it can give you, you’re better off using something else.Tribulus 750 facts

Who should use it

It’s definitely targeted for men who have sex problems. So we’re looking at men in their late 40s and up. It’s not for men who are heavily into training or those who prefer using one supplement only. Then again tribulus isn’t exactly stackable compared to tongkat ali.

Side effects

Nothing out of the ordinary.

Pricing & Buying info

  • 90 capsules: $14.38
  • 6-Pack (6 x 90 capsules): $70.28
  • 12-Pack (12 x 90 capsules): $135.36
  • Available at their website

TRIBULUS 750 Alternatives

Tribulus 750 looks to be a primary contender to Herbolab’s Tongkat Ali but we all know who’s the better bottle. For what it’s worth, Tribulus 750 can only really boost your testosterone mildly while Tongkat Ali does its job and still acts as a sex enhancer. The only key advantage of Tribulus 750 is the price but there are other Tribulus supplements out there that can compete with that price plus give you more bang for your buck.

If you want the best of both worlds then go for Tongkat Ali.

Trying out new things can be an exciting experience specially when it comes to software, computer upgrades, new fitness gear, and even new cars. Sometimes new things are impressive and can definitely be worth the amount of time, effort, and money spent on acquiring them. The same can be said about supplements where the usual names and ingredients have more or less played the safe side but that’s not the case for UNLEASHED.

UNLEASHED is a testosterone booster that claims to be “the most potent testosterone supplement stimulating product on the market.” We can’t help but think twice of whether their claim is tested or added as a form of marketing hype and by the looks of their formula we’re inclined to assume it’s the latter.Unleashed

We’ll UNLEASHED set your testosterone production into overdrive? Let’s find out.

Supplement facts

  • Serving size: 3 capsules
  • Serving per container: 30
  • Trimethylglycine – 1000 mg
  • Avena Sative (herb) – 500 mg
  • Ashwagandha (standardized to 1.5% with anolides) (root) – 500 mg
  • Muira Puama 12:1 Extract (bark) – 500 mg
  • Stinging Nettle (root) – 100 mg
  • Xanthoparmella Scabrosa (bark) – 50 mg

Other ingredients:
Gelatin (Capsule), Rice Flour, Magnesium Stearate

Ingredient analysis

We’ve reviewed plenty of testosterone boosters before but UNLEASHED’s formula is definitely not something we see everyday. It doesn’t make use of the familiar ingredients known to boost testosterone but it’s looking to compensate with ample dosages. Let’s dissect it the ingredients one by one and see if it really does promote testosterone growth.

  • Trimethylglycine. Functions as a performance enhancing compound which boosts growth hormones marginally. Science says the benefits to physical exercise may not be practical, though. The dose needed for daily use is enough but as a supplement, they need at least twice the amount. Not really a testosterone booster.
  • Avena Sativa. Not exactly something you’ll see in a supplement. It functions mainly as a sex booster among other things. Dosage isn’t potent enough and is short 250 mg.
  • Ashwagandha. Both a nootropic and testosterone booster. It helps reduce stress and fatigue while boosting sex drive and sperm quality. It’s standardized, though, and the dosage hits the bare minium.
  • Muira Puama.  Libido enhancer and can also double as a cognitive enhancer. Strong dosage for its ratio.
  • Stinging Nettle. Great for prostate health and is shown to block aromatase, a testosterone converting enzyme.
  • Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa. Added for erectile dysfunction treatment. The dosage seems to be potent IF it’s a 12:1 concentrate but they didn’t indicate that on their label.Unleashed facts

UNLEASHED seems to be more of a generic male supplement than it is a testosterone booster. It can definitely boost sex drive and mildly boosts testosterone, as if it’s the secondary effect. It’s good for prostate health, though, and could be a good stress fighter too. It’s just no testosterone booster.

Who should use it

It’s definitely targeted for men who suffer ED or have sex problems. So we’re looking at men in their late 40s and up.

Side effects

Nothing out of the ordinary.

Pricing & Buying info

UNLEASHED Alternatives

UNLEASHED’s formula is a bit different from what we’ve seen before and risked using ingredients with little studies to back them up. We’re also concerned about whether it can boost your testosterone for longer periods since the ingredients capable of that are sparse. It’s also heavily marketed for old guys which means younger men may not benefit much from this. Herbolab’s Tongkat Ali is simple, makes use of just one yet potent, scientifically backed ingredient, and it’s effective across men of all ages.

Tribustol Review

By | Reviews | No Comments

About Tribustol

Tribustol sounds like a man’s supplement and has tribulus as its main weapon. It has many claims on being a performance and strength enhancer, a fat burner, a recovery booster, and even boasts a calming effect. It even claims to be better than creatine. Now those are a lot of claims and controversial at that. They’re on the pricey side of the market but maybe they have something up their sleeves.Tribustol large

Let’s take a look at what Tribustol offers its users.

Supplement facts

  • Serving size: 1 Capsule
  • Serving per container: 150
  • Vitamin A – 1051 IU
  • Vitamin C – 120 mg
  • Vitamin E – 78 IU
  • Vitamin B1 – 2 mg
  • Vitamin B2 – 1 mg
  • Vitamin B6 – 2mg
  • Folic Acid – 900 mcg
  • Vitamin B12 – 15 mcg
  • Potassium – 29 mg
  • Tribulus (40%) 45 mg

Ingredient analysis

Tribustol claims this is the right ratio for a product they is one of the best testosterone boosters in the industry. To be honest, it’s not really looking great based on the formula they show but we’ll keep an open mind about it and reserve the judgment later. Let’s check out each ingredient and see if they’re at least decent for the product’s claims.

  • Vitamins. B6 and B12 are the only ingredients that can boost testosterone and they’re severely underdosed. You may not even feel a thing. Other vitamins have their own effects but most of them have weird dosages too which makes us wonder what purpose they serve. Vitamin E and Folic acid are too high while B2 might as well be invisible as an example.
  • Potassium. Too small to work as anything but an electrolyte for muscle hydration.
  • Tribulus. Common testosterone boosters have at least 300 mg of this ingredient and it’s not to boost testosterone but to enhance physical performance and boost sex drive. Sadly, we only see a mere hint of Tribustol’s main ingredient hence nullifying their products potential game changer.

Tribustol’s website says you have to take 1 capsule per 40 lbs of weight so a man weighing 160 lbs has to take 4 capsules and a man weighing 240 lbs, 6. This effectively multiplies the dosages and makes it seem like the underdosed ingredients seem justified but it doesn’t. Not only does it not nullify the low doses but it also spikes up the vitamins that are way too high. This could cause serious overdose problems if taken for long term.

Speaking of underdosing, we have no idea what makes them write their claims. We like to think they were on an extremely tight budget and was in a hurry to get a product out without even knowing what it truly does.

It’s not better than creatine, it’s not an effective fat burner, too mild of a strength enhancer, and we’re confident you won’t feel good as they state on their website and it’s all because of poor ingredient choices and even poorer dosages. The only real benefit would be the vitamins and minerals but you’re better off taking something like Centrum everyday instead.

Who should use it

We don’t see any point on recommending this to anyone. Even if it was for free it might do more harm than good.

Side effects

They said there’s no side effect but overdosing on a few vitamins could trigger it specially if you plan on taking more than 4 capsules a day.

Pricing & Buying info

  • 1 bottle (150 capsules): $69.95
  • 2 bottles ($64.98 per)
  • 3 bottles ($56.65 per)
  • 4 bottles ($52.49 per)
  • Available only on their website.

Tribustol Alternatives

We do not recommend this product at all. A better product will be a brand that won’t lie to you and will be clear on what it can really do. We’ve reviewed plenty of other products and even if they weren’t so good at least they somehow work. One of the good ones is Tongkat Ali by Herbolab. Simple and straight to the point with no fancy claims. Stay away from Tribustol at all costs.

ZMA PM Review

By | Reviews | No Comments

About ZMA PM

ZMA PM is aimed to do two things: Increase testosterone and provide better quality sleep. And from the looks of its formula it seems capable of achieving its primary objectives. It’s also good that it’s on the “cheap” side when it comes to pricing which gives it more value.ZMA_PM_bottle_New

But does it being too cheap mean something when it comes to quality? Let’s find out.

Supplement facts

  • Serving size:
    • 4 Capsules (Men)
    • 3 Capsules (Women)
  • Serving per container:
    • 30 (Men)
    • 40 (Women)
  • Vitamin B6 (As Pyridoxine HCl) – 11 mg
  • Magnesium (As Aspartate) – 450 mg
  • Zince (As Monomethionine and Aspartate) – 30 mg
  • Potassium (As Aspartate) – 10 mg

Anabolic Sleep Blend

  • Mucuna Pruriens (Standardized to 10% L-Dopa) – 480 mg
  • L-Theanine – 200 mg
  • Lemon Balm (Melissa Officinalis) (leaf) extract – 300 mg

Other ingredients:
Gelatin, Rice Flour, Magnesium Stearate, and Silicon Dioxide.
ZMA™ Is A Trademark Of SNAC System, Inc., San Carlos, CA 94070

Ingredient analysis

ZMA PM claims itself to be an “Anabolic Night Time Recovery Formula” which focuses on, well, muscle recovery after a tough workout. Based on that you can say it’s a post workout supplement more than a testosterone booster but that’s not the case based on their formulation.

  • ZMA. ZMA is a trademarked supplement aimed specifically to not just address deficiencies to boost an athletes testosterone.
  • Potassium. The amount of potassium is minimal which suggests its use as an electrolyte and is used for hydration of muscles.
  • Mucuna Pruriens. A potent testosterone booster and being standardized to 10% L-Dopa makes it even much more potent. The dosage is definitely good enough.
  • L-Theanine. A stress reliever and nootropic often used with caffeine to prevent jitters and crashes. It’s relaxing but doesn’t induce sleep but slightly improves sleep quality.
  • Lemon Balm. Used for stress relief and memory enhancement and the dosage is just enough to work.ZMA_PM_Facts

ZMA PM has ample amounts of B6, Magnesium, and Zinc while being supported by Mucuna Pruriens for more testosterone boost. Pairing it with L-Theanine and Lemon Balm for good sleep sounds like a great idea specially if you’re recovering or if sleep quality is lacking.

The big question now is why is it so cheap? Plenty of online stores offer this at usually not more than $21.00 with some even selling it for $19.00. It also makes us wonder how they claim to be clinically proven but have no references to show for it. There’s also no money back guarantee or customer service. It really looks sketchy.

Who should use it

Athletes who have trouble sleeping due to over fatigue or supplement side effects.

Side effects

None reported.

Pricing & Buying info

  • 1 bottle (30 servings): $19.99
  • Available in most retail stores

ZMA PM Alternatives

ZMA PM is definitely one heck of a testosterone booster and sleep promoter. They’re also priced amazingly cheap for the benefits they offer. What we’re now questioning is WHY they’re so cheap. This begs the question of the integrity and quality of each ingredient. You are more than welcome to try this product since it’s pretty cheap but if you want something with more quality then go for Herbolab’s Tongkat Ali. At least you know the company’s good.

PowerFULL Review

By | Reviews | No Comments

About PowerFULL

When you hear the word powerful you instantly get the impression that something major is about to happen. The word itself caters to superheroes such as Superman or the Hulk so when you slap it on a male supplement you assume it’s going to turn you into a hero of your own. PowerFULL works mainly on sleep and growth hormones with a bit of testosterone boost on the side and we’re initially inclined to think it’s a great product because USP Labs is the company behind it. PowerFULL

USP Labs is known to create monstrously good products so maybe PowerFULL is up there with their best. Will it disappoint us? Let’s find out.

Supplement facts

  • Serving size: 1 Capsule
  • Serving per container: 90

Proprietary Blend – 750 mg

Velvet Bean (Bean) Extract, Chlorophytum Borivilianum (Root) Extract)

Other ingredients:
Gelatin, Corn Starch, Magnesium Stearate, Blue 1, Titanium Dioxide Color

Ingredient analysis

There are only two key ingredients in PowerFULL which means plenty of room for proper dosing of ingredients. But will its simple formula be enough to boost man powers? Let’s see.

  • Velvet Bean. Also known as Mucuna Pruriens, is a potent testosterone booster which works better if you’re running low on testosterone to begin with.
  • Chlorophytum Borivilianum. Also known as Safed Musli, is an adaptogenic and aphrodisiac, it’s also considered a mild testosterone booster.

PowerFULL is designed as more of a growth hormone supplement but also dabs on male enhancement particularly on testosterone growth and sex drive enhancer. Safed Musli also plays a major role in stress relief and is known to provide better sleep.PowerFULL 2

The serving size is also only one capsule but they recommend to take at least 3 capsules a day and specifically prohibits carb intake, 5 g max, within 60 minutes of consumption. The serving size would add up to 2250 mg which makes us think this study was sponsored by USP Labs.

It shows the effects of combining Velvet Bean and Safed Musli with the intent of increasing growth hormones. The dosage was the same at 2250 mg and the test showed positive results for exercise-trained men.

It seems to work the way it should but being a product marketed towards athletes would require it to be stacked to maximize its effects. We also don’t know if the ingredients are standardized or not and that matters since it helps us know if a product is not working because of the user or because of the ingredients.

We should also note the use of colorants again. We have no idea why they bother with colors if not to distinguish them in the factories. Colorants are bad for you and daily intake in the form of supplements will undoubtedly pile up artificial ingredients in your body.

Who should use it

The study it sponsored specified exercise-trained men so its users should be at least semi-active to fully utilize PowerFULL’s potential.

Side effects

There’s a chance it won’t boost your testosterone since Mucuna Pruriens works mostly on men with low testosterone. Users also report more as a sleep aid than it is a male supplement and that’s bad considering it’s supposed to be for weight training athletes.

Pricing & Buying info

  • 1 bottle (90 capsules): $29.95 – $32.99
  • Available on select online stores

PowerFull Alternatives

PowerFULL by USP Labs is a working supplement and is best used as a sleep aid but the price for what it provides you is too steep. There are plenty of products that can give similar benefits and more for almost the same price. Its lack of transparency also makes us think they used subpar products. They’ve already used a simple formulation so why hide behind a prop blend? If you want transparency and a male supplement that actually work try Herbolab’s Tongkat Ali. At least the product won’t keep you guessing.

Mdrive Prime Review

By | Reviews | No Comments

About Mdrive Prime

Mdrive Prime is part of a series of Mdrive ingredients catered giving men a boost in strength and performance. Mdrive Prime is different as the website says it’s been streamlined to make sure it’s affordable for men everywhere. Their formula looks okay at first glance but upon closer inspection, you can see a few flaws here and there specially if you compare this to other products within the same price range and category.Mdrive

Will Mdrive Prime be the “affordable introduction” to the Mdrive line of supplements? Or is it merely affordable and nothing else? Let’s find out.

Supplement facts

  • Serving size: 2 capsules
  • Serving per container: 30 servings
  • Vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) – 400 IU
  • Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine hydrochloride) – 10 mg
  • Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin) – 120 mcg
  • Chromium (as Chromax®: as chromium picolinate) – 200 mcg

Complete Blend – 1030 mg

KSM-66®: Ashwagandha Extract (root), Cordyceps Extract (mycelia), Diindolylmethane (DIM), DHEA, Bioperine®: Piperine (from Black Pepper)

Other ingredients:
Vegi Capsule (Hypromellose), Rice Flour, Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate (Vegetable).

Ingredient analysis

When it comes to supplements, the fewer the ingredients the more focused it is on doing what it’s supposed to do but it’s not always the case with other products and Mdrive Prime just happens to be one of them.

  • Vitamin D3. Very good form of an already great testosterone ingredient but its dosage can use some help.
  • Vitamin B6. Low dosage and cheap form. Too bad since it’s also a great testosterone booster.
  • Vitamin B12. Great part of a multivitamin and at the best form too but it’s more of a nootropic than anything else.
  • KSM-66. A heavily concentrated and branded form of Ashwagandha, an adaptogen first and a mild testosterone booster second.
  • Cordyceps. Helps with the testosterone-estrogen ratio as well as showing potential for boosting testosterone. We wonder why it’s not the one with the most weight in their blend.
  • DIM. Used mainly for estrogen health and has been shown to potentially inhibit testosterone production.
  • DHEA. Ingredient notable for its many benefits particularly in raising testosterone but studies are still quite unsure as to whether to recommend it as a “good” booster or something you can just avoid altogether.
  • Bioperine. Increases absorption of every ingredient in a supplement and a must-see ingredient in any supplement.

As much as we want to say the product is effective it clearly just isn’t. Mdrive Prime appears to be a weak testosterone supplement at best. It looks like it tried to offset the low dosages with black pepper but no amount of Bioperine can overcome low-dosed ingredients.

The notable testosterone ingredients are D3, B6, DIM, DHEA, and KSM-66 but as noted earlier, D3 and B6 are underdosed, DIM an DHEA are not really decent testosterone boosters, and the premium KSM-66 is only a testosterone booster AFTER its nootropic function. There are plenty of other ingredients that can boost testosterone we wonder why they didn’t even bother with them.

The only real thing it could do is probably promote a testosterone-growth environment but not directly increasing testosterone at all.

Who should use it

It’s marketed towards all types of men but the real beneficiaries would be men who are 50+ years of age.

Side effects

No actual side effects reported.

Pricing & Buying info

  • 1 bottle (1 month): $29.99
  • 3 bottles: $59.97
  • Available online and retail stores

Mdrive Prime Alternatives

It has the intent but it lacked on the ingredients and dosage. If you’re looking for something you can trust to work, see our review of Herbolab’s Tongkat Ali. You’d be surprised just how much it works despite how simple it is.

NUGENIX Free Testosterone Review

By | Reviews | No Comments

NUGENIX Free Testosterone Booster is a “safe and specially formulated dietary supplement that helps your body increase free testosterone” according to its website. We have to ask ourselves how it plans on doing that, though. The formula has all the signs of weak dosing despite consisting of just 6 key ingredients. Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster

It’s an expensive bottle and we think half of it is for the design because we really find the bottle pretty to look at. Let’s check it out anyway and see if it’s worth your hard earned money.

Supplement facts

  • Serving size: 3 capsules
  • Serving per container: 30 servings
  • Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCL) – 2 mg
  • Vitamin B12 (as Methylcobalamin) – 50 mcg
  • Zinc (as Zinc chelate) – 1 mg

Nugenix Free Testosterone Complex – 2,103 mg

L-Citruline Malate, Testofen® Fenugreek Seed Extract (50% Fenuside™), Tribulus (fruit)

Other ingredients:
Gelatin, Magnesium Stearate

Ingredient analysis

NUGENIX says it can help users:

  • Feel Stronger
  • Increase Sex Drive
  • Boost Free Testosterone

These claims indicate it’s not just a plain testosterone booster but also hints of being a sort of preworkout too. What intrigues us is the way they ranked the three functions and it makes us assume they boost testosterone as the last priority. That’s not a good thing for a testosterone booster at all.

Let’s check out the ingredients and see if their formula holds or falls apart.

  • Vitamin B6. A really great testosterone booster but the dose is laughably low.
  • Vitamin B12.  Great form for a nootropic but the dosage is too low for anything.
  • Zinc. This is a potent testosterone booster but that dose won’t even so much as make your testosterone flinch.

Nugenix Free Testosterone Complex

  • L-Citrulline Malate. One of the best workout ingredients for muscle circulation & mad pumps. Dose appears too low to work.
  • Testofen. Quality “branded” fenugreek, standardized. Enhances libido, maintains testosterone. Boosts testosterone a bit but nothing major. Needs at least 500 mg to work.
  • Tribulus. A really good sex enhancer and boosts testosterone if you’re running low otherwise it’s just for libido.nugenix-testosterone-booster-review

The overall formula is underdosed and is more likely not work despite brandishing quality ingredients in their prop blend. Citrulline requires more than 2000 mg to work and Testofen won’t function properly below 500 mg. Tribulus is the only thing that could work on a low dosage but the ingredient isn’t standardized to make even that a remote possibility.

What do we have here, then? Underdosing, prop blend, quality ingredients that won’t work due to low doses, NUGENIX Free Testosterone has all the makings of a bad product. And it’s also REALLY expensive for something that doesn’t work.

Who should use it

It’s not even worth testing unless you got it for free.

Side effects

Not sure with this one as the doses aren’t known to cause any bad side effects. The ones we saw were bouts of nausea, headaches, and stomach cramps but it could be due to sensitivities and not a general side effect.

Pricing & Buying info

  • 1 bottle (30 servings): $69.99 on their website.

NUGENIX Alternatives

NUGENIZ Free Testosterone doesn’t work at all. Even if it does, it’s bound to be minimal plus that price tag is just too much. For almost the same price you can get something better like Tongkat Ali by Herbolab and you know it works.

TESTRONE Extra Strength Review

By | Reviews | No Comments

About TESTRONE Extra Strength

BRI Nutrition’s TESTRONE Extra Strength is definitely one of the most potent testosterone supplements we’ve ever reviewed. You know it works just by how its name sounds. A glance at the ingredients, the dosages, and the claims makes us both excited and worried.

Excited because the ingredients are nicely picked and focused. Worried because they might have made this product too potent that it’s dangerous for regular consumption.Testrone Extra Strength

Let’s check it out anyway and see what TESTRONE Extra Strength is all about.

Supplement facts

  • Serving size: 2 Vegetable Capsules
  • Serving per container: 30
  • Zinc Citrate 30% – 200 mg
  • Tongkat Ali 100:1 – 400 mg
  • Tribulus 45% – 400 mg
  • Magnesium Sulfate Anhydrous – 200 mg
  • Diindolylmethane (DIM) – 100 mg
  • Boron Chelate 5% – 100 mg

Other ingredients:
Vegetable Cellulose (capsule) and Vegetable Magnesium Stereate

Ingredient analysis

The list of ingredients in TESTRONE look like they’re all out to get your testosterone up while simultaneously getting your libido up when you need to get solid erections and better sex performance. we have to give them cred for showing everything which makes this review even better and much more accurate.

  • Zinc Citrate. The best form of Zinc for optimum testosterone boosting performance. The dose is definitely overkill and may actually be bad for you.
  • Tongkat Ali. An okay testosterone booster but is better known as great sex enhancer. The dosage is more than decent for this to work.
  • Tribulus. Not so much as a testosterone booster but works much more as a sex enhancer much like tongkat ali.
  • Magnesium Sulfate. Not the best form for Magnesium but it’s a good choice of ingredient nonetheless. The dosage is not that much but it should work well with boron for optimum testosterone boosting power.
  • DIM. It acts as an aromatase inhibitor which helps prevent excess estrogen development in the body. Dosage is just ideal for daily intake.
  • Boron. Another great testosterone booster and the form is awesome for optimum bioavailability. Dosage-wise it’s a bit of an overkill but so far studies don’t reflect any possible harm. Still, that’s a lot of boron per serving.Testrone Extra Strength 2

Based on what we see looks like TESTRONE might be overdoing it specially when it comes to their Zinc and Boron content. Don’t get us wrong: we know Zinc in citrate form is the best form this mineral can have when it comes to biovalaibility but if you’re a regular lifter who takes this every 24 hours then there’s a chance you might suffer from zinc toxicity.

The symptoms of zinc toxicity include stomach cramps, nausea, and vomiting may occur. Ingesting high levels of zinc for several months may cause anemia, damage the pancreas, and decrease levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol. It might even lead to copper deficiency. That’s not exactly appealing to customers.

Maybe that’s why TESTRONE strongly recommends not to take more than one serving per 24 hours. Apart from the potential zinc toxicity, looks like the rest of the ingredients are in their proper places and “enough” doses.

The only potential issue would be the frequency of intake. Most testosterone boosters recommend small doses throughout the day to maintain testosterone at optimum levels. It’s one-serving per day rule might not appeal to this type of consumer.

Who should use it

This should be treated as a preworkout more than an ordinary testosterone supplement, as they hinted on their label, which means its target market are regular bodybuilders or serious athletes. The formula also seems to cater to vegans since they specify the words “veggie” and “vegetable” on their label.

Side effects

The zinc is the main issue here so it would be wise to cycle this to prevent zinc toxicity.

Pricing & Buying info

  • 1 bottle (30 servings): $42.77
  • 3 bottles (2 + 1 promo): $85.54
  • Available on Amazon and their website

TESTRONE Extra Strength Alternatives

TESTRONE looks like a potent product but perhaps it’s too potent that it’s borderline dangerous for consumption. If only they laid off the zinc a bit, even 30-50 mg is more than enough, we’d recommend this like a 5-star product but that is just not the case. If anything, we recommend you not to buy TESTRONE and opt for something safer like Tongkat Ali by Herbolab.

RegiMEN Testosterone Support Review

By | Reviews | No Comments

About RegiMEN Testosterone Support

Regimen seems to highly target aging men and claims to provide increased production of testosterone among other things. We say among other things because most of its ingredients are not exactly for boosting testosterone. Not to mention how each capsule contains 17 ingredients and may be underdosed due to “lack of room” for each one.RegiMEN

We also have to mention that we have no clue as to how most of their ingredients are dosed at as they made use of the old proprietary blend list instead. Let’s have a look at what they got for us.

Supplement Facts

  • Serving size: 3 capsules
  • Serving per container: 30
  • Magnesium – 225 mg (55% DV)
  • Zinc – 15 mg (100% DV)

Male Performance Blend – 975 mg

Ajuga Turkestanica Stems and Leaves Extract, Horny Goat Weed Herb, Rhodiola Rosea Root Extract, Maca Root Extract, Pygeum Africanum Bark Extract, Saw Palmetto Berry Extract

Anabolic Blend – 664 mg

Tribulus Terrestris Fruit Extract, Rhaponticum Cathamoides Root, Muira Puama Root, 5-methyl-7-methoxy-isoflavone, Eurycoma Longifolia Root Powder

Anti-Estrogen – 207 mg

Red Clover Leaf Extract, Chrysin, Diindolymethane

Ingredient analysis

Let’s call out the small ingredients first:

  • Magnesium is a great testosterone booster but their dosage is only at the bare minimum. We also don’t know what form they used and it matters when it comes to absorption.
  • Zinc is a great testosterone boosting supplement but again the dose is hinging on the bare minimum as well as not indicating what form it has in the product.

Next are their proprietary blends.

Male Performance Blend – 975 mg

  • Ajuga Turkestanica: A muscle supplement.
  • Horny Goat Weed: Might increase testosterone but it requires at least 1 g to work.
  • Rhodiola Rosea: A great T-Booster on its own.
  • Maca Root: A great libido enhancer.
  • Pygeum & Saw Palmetto: Prostate health ingredients.

Anabolic Blend – 664 mg

  • Tribulus Terrestris: Good sex enhancer
  • Rhaponticum: Mainly used for muscle growth
  • Muira Puama: Libido enhancer and the saponins could mimic testosterone.
  • 5-methyl-7-methoxy-isoflavone: Good for muscle mass but not for testosterone or for libido.
  • Eurycoma Longifolia: Great for sex enhancement.

Anti-Estrogen Blend – 207 mg

RegiMEN seems to be really aiming for a general male supplement but claiming the product as “Testosterone Support” is a bit too ambitious. Their formulation is not fine tuned towards testosterone growth and actually acts as more of a libido and muscle growth enhancer.

They also mixed-match some of the ingredients in their blends namely Tribulus and Eurycoma in a “Anabolic blend” and Ajuga in the “Male Performance blend.” We’re also not sure what Red Clover is doing there.

It’s also quite alarming that their own company’s website, Vestiage Inc, seems to have disappeared. Take a look for yourself.

This means the product is no longer or at least does not seem to be supported by its mother company anymore so cases of refunds or complaints won’t be entertained.

The testosterone boost you’ll get is low at most but you’ll definitely get an increase in sex drive and an increase in physical performance. We just don’t know for sure just how big those benefits are since the dosages are hidden and we can only assume so much from what we can’t see.

Who should use it

Despite marketing it towards men in their 50’s or more, the way it was made seems to be more for guys in their 30s since that’s the age where men feel weaker due to a drop in testosterone and feel less excited about sex.

Side effects

Not so much side effects but their Anti-Estrogen blend might do you more harm than good since it contains a women-only ingredient.

RegiMEN Testosterone Support alternatives

RegiMEN acts as a general overall male supplement but with the seemingly mismatched formulations as well as having no actual website to complain or call to, we’d rather recommend you to go for other products such as Herbolab’s Tongkat Ali for your own safety.

GAMMA-O Review

By | Reviews | No Comments

It’s not everyday a supplement company innovates by adding a new and unknown ingredient and that’s what the folks behind Gamma-O did. Gamma-O makes use o Gamma Oryzanol as its main testosterone booster. The theory behind Gamma Oryzanol is its activation of Luteinizing Hormone or LH, one of the key components in activating the body’s testosterone production.

Their approach is then made better by utilizing what they call “Liquid Emulsion Technology” which increases absorption rate and therefore better testosterone increase.Gamma-O

Is this new ingredient effective or more of a marketing hype? Let’s find out.

Supplement facts

  • Serving size: 2 capsules
  • Serving per container: 60
  • Vitamin D (As Cholecalciferol) – 1500 IU
  • Gamma Oryzanol – 500 mg
  • Conjugated Linolenic Acid – 500 mg
  • Indole-3-Carbinol (I3C) – 150 mg
  • Maca Root Powder (Lepidum Meyenii) – 100 mg

Other ingredients:
Gelatin, Rice Bran Oil, D-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate, FD&C Yellow #5, FD&C Yellow #6, And Titanium Dioxide.

Ingredient analysis

GAMMA-O is intriguing when you look at it. It looks to be an innovative natural testosterone booster with an array of ingredients that all look to be properly dosed. Let’s take a closer look and see if their formula is actually worth paying big money for.

  • Vitamin D. A very good form of a testosterone booster but the dose is somewhat minimal. It looks a lot but other supplements average at around 2500 IU with the highest being 5000 IU.
  • Gamma Oryzanol. This is their key ingredient and the main reason they produced GAMMA-O in the first place. They claim it can boost  testosterone but science says “No it doesn’t.” Well, that’s bad.
  • CLA. CLA is known for body composition benefits; more lean muscle mass & less bodyfat as it functions as a great fat burner more than anything else.
  • I3C. Better known as I3C, is the precursor to Diindoylymethane, an aromatase inhibitor that helps block conversion of testosterone to estrogen. The dose should be enough to get it going.
  • MacaNot a testosterone booster but useful for sex drive and physical performance.GAMMA-O-PILLS-SUPPFACTS

Based on our analysis, GAMMA-O fails as a testosterone booster despite the hype it tried to promote around Gamma Oryzanol. The only working ingredients there for testosterone are Vitamin D and I3C and even they’re not sufficient to actually give your testosterone production a kick. The only redeeming factor to Gamma Oryzanol is how it could reduce cholesterol but even the study says it requires more tests.

Who should use it

We don’t really recommend it to be used by anyone unless they want to try it out themselves just to see how it doesn’t work.

Side effects

No actual side effects reported.

GAMMA-O Alternatives

GAMMA-O tried to be different but lack of evidence for their main ingredient killed their product almost immediately. Not to mention the price of one bottle was once at $99.99 so yes, $74.99 is already heavily discounted. Too bad it’s not a working product. If you want to buy something both cheaper and working then go for Herbolab’s Tongkat Ali. It’s not too complicated and works the way it should.
